When this glomerular filtration rate in blood filtering in the kidney drops below twenty-five to thirty percent, creatinine and urea start to increase, and the patient becomes asymptomatic or presenting high blood pressure, anemia, nocturia, and polyuria. When this filtration level drops below 15%, the symptoms of uremic syndrome start to appear, and then that patient will need urgent chronic renal failure treatment.
Causes of this failure:
● Diabetes mellitus is the leading cause of this failure in maximum developed countries. This renal involvement happens after ten years of catching diabetes, though it becomes symptomatic at twenty years.
● Hypertension creates an overloading pressure in the whole vascular tree, to which this vessel will respond by strengthening the muscular layer.
● Glomerulonephritis is made of a glomerular attachment accompanied by renal interstitial and vascular involvement in many cases. They usually manifest with hematuria, proteinuria, and rapid or slow deterioration of this renal function.
● Hereditary renal processes presented entirely by polycystic kidney disease. It is such a genetic process that has been transmitted in an autosomal dominant manner.
