Dr. Amit Kumar serves as the Director and Head of the Department of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation at Sanar International Hospital in Gurugram. He is a distinguished expert in nephrology and kidney transplantation.
Dr. Kumar completed his MBBS and MD at the prestigious PGIMS Rohtak in Haryana, consistently ranked among the top 10 institutes in India. To further his ambition of specializing in nephrology, he pursued a DM in Nephrology at the renowned AIIMS New Delhi, recognized as a leading institution both in India and globally.
With over 8 years of professional experience in nephrology, Dr. Kumar has worked with some of the foremost healthcare organizations. He has been a key participant in more than 600 kidney transplants, including some of the most challenging procedures such as ABO-incompatible transplants, transplants in highly sensitized recipients, and high-risk transplants involving significant comorbidities.
